COP28 Activities

COP28, UN Climate Change Conference – United Arab Emirates 2023, from 30 November to 12 December, is a key date for the international community to come together and set out how to meet the Climate Challenge as a planet.

The British Chamber Network and members will be actively taking part in COP28 events and initiatives. We have a unique opportunity to come together to take advantage of COP28, which is already generating enormous interest across the world.

The Chamber Network will be showcased as the leading business organisation on COP28 business engagement by uniting Chambers, countries, companies, multinationals, SMEs, startups, experts, young professionals, and the public and private sector for a greener future.

The British Chambers of Commerce is delighted to be a partner of the Climate Action Innovation Zone, an inclusive platform for cross-sector collaboration at COP28. It will bring together thousands of leaders and practitioners from business, finance, cities, governments
and civil society to drive climate action at speed and scale.

At Sussex Chamber and across the British Chamber Network, we understand that green innovation is about change now, for a better tomorrow. The transition to net zero presents businesses with opportunities to grow – by meeting government requirements and by satisfying fast-growing global demand for environmental products and services.

Chambers play an important role in supporting businesses on their journey to net zero, helping SMEs to understand what it means for them and how to comply.

Members are encouraged to share their stories on their net zero journey by emailing membership@sussexchamberofcommerce.co.uk.
