Kenward Trust partners with Kent Charity Trek

Kenward Trust has announced its continued partnership as a charity beneficiary of the Kent Charity Trek, a flagship annual endurance event held in May that raises vital funds for local charities across the county.

This year, BNI Pioneer โ€“ a Maidstone-based business networking group โ€“ has entered a dedicated team, The Kenward Pioneers, with an ambitious fundraising target of ยฃ7,500. All funds raised will support Kenward Trustโ€™s youth education programme, Think Differently.

Delivered in secondary schools across Kent, Think Differently supports young people aged 11-18 to make informed, healthier choices around drugs, alcohol and other risky behaviours. With increasing concerns around drug experimentation among young people, the need for early education and honest, evidence-based conversations has never been more critical.

Penny Williams, CEO of Kenward Trust, said: โ€œThis will be our third year partnering with this fantastic event, and once again, we are incredibly grateful to BNI Pioneer for choosing to support us.

โ€œTheir commitment enables us to reach more schools across Kent with our life-saving Think Differently programme, particularly at a time when we are seeing worrying increases in drug use among young people.โ€

Funds raised by The Kenward Pioneers will directly contribute to expanding the Think Differently programme, allowing Kenward Trust to deliver more workshops, reach more schools, and provide vital education and support to young people throughout the county.

The Kent Charity Trek brings together hundreds of participants each year to take on a challenging and inspiring route through the Kent countryside, all while raising funds for charities that make a meaningful difference in local communities.
