Entries open for the Kent Press & Broadcast Awards 2026

Entries have opened for the 2026 Kent Press & Broadcast Awards, which recognise local journalism across the county.

Organised by Kent PR and marketing agency Maxim, the awards feature 16 categories covering print, digital and broadcast media. An independent panel of judges will assess all submissions, with no shortlisting carried out by the organisers.

The ceremony will take place on Friday 3 July at The Spitfire Ground St Lawrence in Canterbury, with winners announced during a three-course lunch.

There is no fee to enter and journalists may submit work to multiple categories. All finalists will be invited to attend the ceremony free of charge.

The deadline for entries is 5pm on Friday 10 April. Finalists are due to be announced in June.

Full details, including judging criteria, terms and conditions, and the entry form, are available at www.kpbawards.co.uk
