Bluebay relocates to Milton Keynes

Bluebay Building Products, a UK distributor of specialist civil engineering and construction products, has relocated its Luton operations to a purpose-built, sustainable new depot in Milton Keynes.

The 21,000 sq ft high-performance Milton Keynes facility, located just one mile from the M1, will enable the team to service clients across the whole of the UK more efficiently. The flagship facility features 700 pallet spaces, a bespoke trade counter with readily available stock and the capacity to hold a wider product range.

In line with Bluebayโ€™s increasing focus on sustainability, the depot is EPC A Rated and includes EV charging points with provisions for future fleet expansion, renewable technologies, PV roof panels and bike spaces. The building has also achieved a BREEAM โ€˜Excellentโ€™ rating, underscoring its environmental credentials.

The move marks Bluebayโ€™s second new facility in the region in the past 12 months. A depot was opened in Thurrock in Summer 2025, showcasing a period of growth that includes depots, new colleagues and expanding product ranges.

Lucy Furnival, managing director at Bluebay, hopes the move to Milton Keynes will create further local jobs. She said: “This strategic move allows us to expand our commercial footprint, support more clients, stock a wider range of products and create more jobs in the South East region.

โ€œItโ€™s been a big year for Bluebay. I joined the business last January following our acquisition by the Wolseley Group, and weโ€™ve since focused on strategic growth โ€“ delivering an industry-leading service and product range, whilst supporting local community investment, achieving sustainability goals and opening our new branch in Thurrock, and now Milton Keynes.

โ€œThese locations will enable us to better support the many significant infrastructure and construction projects across this part of the country.”
