SHW opens new Surrey office to accelerate growth

Independent, full-service real estate advisory firm SHW has opened a new office in Guildford, Surrey, marking a significant step in the firm’s continued expansion across the South East.

As part of its recently announced Strategic Partnership with Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH), SHW will assume responsibility for LSH’s existing Guildford office.

This move strengthens SHW’s regional presence and sees the firm take on two experienced agency professionals, alongside responsibility for mandates currently serviced from the Surrey office. These include LSH’s existing contracts with Surrey County Council and Guildford Borough Council.

The Guildford office will be led by SHW partner Adam Godfrey. Tim Shaw joins SHW as director, leading the agency team, supported by Elliot Hope, both of whom transition into the SHW business as part of the move.

SHW’s multidisciplinary service offering in Surrey will be delivered by James Connor, who will lead Building Consultancy and Architecture; associate Harry Pleece covering Professional Services; Partner Robin Howland leading Property Management; and partner Richard Pyne overseeing Retail Agency.

Russell Markham, managing partner at SHW, said: “Our Strategic Partnership with LSH was established to accelerate SHW’s growth and support our long-term expansion objectives.

“Establishing a stronger presence in Surrey is a key part of that strategy. This move enables us to enhance our service offering to clients across the region, while working closely with colleagues across our 10 South East offices.

“It also significantly improves our coverage along the A3 and M3 corridors, strengthening links with our Hampshire team and extending our reach across the wider Surrey market.”
