Brachers acquires Gill Turner Tucker

Brachers has announced its acquisition of Gill Turner Tucker, a respected Kent law firm with offices in Maidstone and Dover.

The acquisition was completed on 31 December 2025, marking a โ€œsignificant milestoneโ€ in Brachersโ€™ growth strategy, following its partnership with Lawfront last year.

Gill Turner Tucker has served clients in Maidstone for over 70 years, while Brachers brings 130 years of trusted legal expertise. Both firms share values of being client-focused, providing clear advice and fostering a collaborative approach.

Joining Lawfront in February 2025 was a decision driven by Brachersโ€™ commitment to growing and enhancing its services and its people, with Lawfront providing the investment required to move forward with these strategic priorities.

This acquisition is a key step in that journey, enabling Brachers to strengthen its regional presence and offer clients an even broader range of expertise.

For Gill Turner Tucker, becoming part of Brachers and the Lawfront group means access to additional resources and specialist knowledge, while maintaining its local roots and relationships.

Clients of both firms can expect a seamless transition. It is the intention that existing staff will remain in place, ensuring continuity of service and familiar faces.

Joanna Worby, managing partner at Brachers, said: โ€œWe are thrilled to welcome Gill Turner Tucker into Brachers. This acquisition reflects our shared commitment to delivering exceptional client service and strengthens our ability to support businesses and individuals across Kent.

โ€œIt also demonstrates the benefits of our partnership with Lawfront, which has enabled us to invest in growth for the benefit of our clients.โ€

Robert Green, partner at Gill Turner Tucker, added: โ€œJoining Brachers is an exciting opportunity for our clients and team. It allows us to maintain our local roots while benefiting from the resources and expertise of a larger firm and the wider Lawfront group. Our clients will continue to receive the personal service they value, with the added advantage of wider specialist support.โ€

Neil Lloyd, CEO of Lawfront, said: โ€œSupporting our firms to achieve their growth ambitions is at the heart of Lawfrontโ€™s strategy. Brachersโ€™ first acquisition of Gill Turner Tucker is a significant milestone and demonstrates how investment and collaboration can create exciting opportunities for clients and teams alike. Weโ€™re delighted to welcome Gill Turner Tucker to Lawfront and into Brachers.โ€
