JM Partnership (Surveyors) Ltd, established in 1997 and based in Gillingham, Kent, has been hand-picked to complement enevo, a national provider of built environment testing, inspection, certification and compliance services.
One of the first companies to become registered and licensed by the Construction Industry Council, JM Partnership (JMP) has offices in Kent, Sussex and Derbyshire.
Operating predominantly across the South East, London and Midlands, the business has been secured by Leeds-headquartered enevo โ a firm on a drive to create one of the UKโs largest privately-owned Registered Building Control Approver businesses.
Creating a national service offering underpinned by shared values, retained independence and a long-term commitment to clients, the business now employs almost 100 people.
enevo has a strong and diverse client base comprising Knight Frank, Savills, Caddick, Torsion Projects and Avison Young, and the addition of JMP further strengthens its ability to deliver consistent, high-quality building control services across England and Wales.
Stuart Martin, former associate director at JM Partnership and now divisional director enevo Building Control (South), said: โJoining enevo is the ideal next step for our business. We share the same values and focus on quality, and this partnership means our clients will continue working with the same people they know and trust, with the added benefit of access to a wider pool of expertise and services.โ
Mark Heptonstall, CEO and founder of enevo, added: โThis is a significant and exciting step for both businesses. JM Partnership has been a respected and trusted name in building control for almost three decades.
โBy bringing our teams together, weโre creating a stronger, more resilient company with the scale and expertise to better support clients nationwide, while staying true to our independence and technical focus.โ
Oliver Bentley, managing director at enevo, concluded: โOur vision is to become one of the UKโs largest privately owned built environment TICC companies by 2027.
โThis move takes us a step closer to that goal, strengthening our Building Control division, broadening our national reach and creating more opportunities for staff and clients alike.โ
Following strong growth in 2024, enevo was recognised as one of The Times Best Places to Work 2025.
Having secured a seven-figure investment from Santander UK earlier this year to support its buy-and-build strategy, enevo is positioned to continue expanding its services and team, while maintaining its culture of technical excellence and people-first values.
