Brachers recognised in The Times ‘Best Law Firms 2026’ list

Brachers has once again been named in The Times ‘Best Law Firms 2026’ list, a prestigious annual ranking of the top 250 law firms in England and Wales.

Compiled in collaboration with international market research company Statista, The Times ‘Best Law Firms’ list recognises the most highly regarded firms for business, public and private client law, based on recommendations from lawyers across the country.

This year, the firm has been specifically commended for its work in the ‘Company’ and ‘Commercial’ category – the only firm in Kent to be recognised in this practice area, reflecting a standout year for its Corporate and Commercial team.

In the latest Chambers UK Guide, the team was ranked in the Corporate/M&A: £5 million and above category, with three partners individually ranked – two in Band 1. The Legal 500 UK Solicitors Guide 2026 also ranked the team in Tier 1, with five partners recognised as ‘Leading Individuals’.

These achievements form part of a broader success story for Brachers’ business services teams. In total, the firm was ranked in seven practice areas in Chambers UK 2026, including a new ranking in Construction (Band 2) and achieved five top-tier rankings in Legal 500, including for its Employment, Commercial Property and Debt Recovery teams.

These accolades reflect the firm’s continued commitment to delivering high-quality, strategic legal support to businesses across Kent and beyond.

This recognition was bolstered by the firm’s inclusion in The Lawyer UK 200 2025 list earlier this month, further underlining its position among the country’s leading law firms.

Managing partner Joanna Worby said: “Being recognised by The Times, The Lawyer and the legal directories is a fantastic endorsement of the quality and dedication of our teams.

“Our inclusion in the ‘Company’ and ‘Commercial’ category in the ‘Best Law Firms’ list this year is particularly rewarding as it reflects the strength of our offering to businesses at every stage of their journey.

“We are proud to be acknowledged once again for our commitment to delivering outstanding legal services.”
