Chartway partners with VIVID to deliver 149 new homes in Chertsey

Chartway Partnerships Group, working in partnership with MTP Developments Ltd and leading housing association VIVID, has entered into a contract to deliver 149 high-quality new homes at Green Lane, Chertsey, Surrey.

The project, which has full detailed permission planning for residential development, will transform a 7.2-hectare site into a new neighbourhood, designed to meet a broad range of local housing needs. The scheme will include a carefully balanced mix of private sale, affordable rent and shared ownership homes.

As well as providing much-needed new housing, the plans include high-quality landscaping, green open spaces and improved pedestrian and cycle connections, helping to create a place where residents can thrive. Infrastructure investment will also deliver modern utilities, drainage, and safe road access, ensuring the development integrates seamlessly with the wider area.

Construction is expected to begin mid-2026, with Chartway leading delivery on site. The site has been acquired from MTP Developments Ltd.

Marking the first project between Chartway and VIVID, this partnership is underpinned by a shared vision of delivering new homes for everyone and supporting local growth through high-quality, sustainable development.

Oliver Jolley, Chief Development Officer at Chartway said: โ€œWeโ€™re incredibly proud to be delivering our first project with VIVID. This development in Chertsey will deliver a high-quality mix of private and affordable homes, alongside vital community and green infrastructure.

โ€œIt represents the shared vision between Chartway and VIVID to provide sustainable, inclusive housing that meets the needs of local people.โ€

Tristan Samuels, Group Development and New Business Director at VIVID, added: โ€œWeโ€™re delighted to be partnering with Chartway on this new development in Chertsey. With 149 new homes, the scheme will provide a diverse range of housing options to meet local needs.

โ€œOur commitment goes beyond building homes โ€“ weโ€™re focused on creating thriving, inclusive communities where individuals and families can feel at home.โ€
