Select Technology partners with Produced in Kent

Managed service provider Select Technology has introduced a new industry partnership with Produced in Kent, champions of the county’s vibrant food and drink sector, to help businesses get ready for an AI future.

Select Technology, based in Paddock Wood, Kent, will join the membership organisation as its official partner for AI, automation and innovation.

Over the next year, the company will provide support, advice and expertise to a network of more than 300 growers, producers, makers, manufacturers, retailers, pubs, restaurants and other food-serving hospitality outlets.

Members will be introduced to the company’s Future Workplace AI and automation consultancy service, built for small and medium-sized enterprises that are ready to streamline operations, reduce manual effort and unlock smarter ways of working.

This includes revealing where time is being wasted with business processes, where errors are creeping in and where intelligent automation can make a real difference.

Nick Potter, managing director, Select Technology, said: “For more than 30 years, we’ve been proud to support Kent’s producers. We have a wealth of experience working alongside some of the county’s most prominent food and drink businesses, and we’re excited to build on that legacy through this new partnership with Produced in Kent.

“From startups to more established businesses, we look forward to helping Produced in Kent’s members with their journey to success by introducing them to ways they can streamline their business operations, increase productivity, minimise human error and gain more business intelligence.

“We believe that the future of this vital sector lies in embracing technology and innovation, and look forward to doing all we can to help businesses unlock the potential that AI and automation can bring.”

Jill Sargent, business development manager, Produced in Kent, added: “We’re thrilled to welcome Select Technology as our AI and innovation partner. Kent’s food and drink sector is bursting with creativity, but producers also face the challenge of staying competitive in a fast-changing world.

“This partnership will give our members the tools and confidence to embrace new technology, helping them grow while staying true to the values that make Kent produce unique.”
