Advo acquires Surrey-based Pay-Nex Limited

HR and payroll consultancy Advo One Limited has completed a deal to buy Surrey-based payroll bureau Pay-Nex Limited for an undisclosed sum.

Established in 2015, Pay-Nex processes the payrolls of a diverse range of clients, which is attractive to Advo, with its focus on supporting SMEs.

Pay-Nex works with accountancy firms, a speciality of Advo, and sector areas such as hospitality and care, where Advo has considerable expertise. Its excellent reputation for client service aligns with the Advo client-centric approach.

Under the terms of the acquisition, Pay-Nex will become part of Advoโ€™s payroll division, with clients now having access to wider services, including technology platforms and HR support.

Payroll staff will be retained and Dena Dixon, Pay-Nexโ€™s managing director, will initially remain within the business to ensure a smooth integration.

Larry Bulmer, Advo CEO, said: โ€œThis is an exciting opportunity for Advo and Pay-Nex clients too. They will have the same client care, with access to wider Advo services, including HR advice and our technology platforms.

โ€œPay-Nexโ€™s expertise and wide range of clients will be a strong addition to Advo, and I am delighted to welcome their clients and staff.โ€

Dena Dixon, Pay-Nexโ€™s managing director, added: โ€œIt has been a privilege to support my clients over the years, and Iโ€™m incredibly grateful for the relationships built during this time.

โ€œAdvo is a company with extensive experience in payroll services and a strong commitment to client care. Iโ€™m confident Pay-Nex clients are in very capable hands.โ€
