Prime Light Group acquires Emergency Lighting Products (ELP)

Prime Light Group, a specialist lighting component solutions provider, has confirmed the acquisition of West Sussex-based Emergency Lighting Products (ELP), which specialises in emergency lighting solutions.

The union is said to bring together two industry-leading brands, enabling greater innovation, broader, more integrated product offerings and powerful cross-selling opportunities.

ELPโ€™s 30-year history in emergency lighting technology complements Prime Light Groupโ€™s product portfolio, which includes LEDs, drivers, control gear and smart lighting systems. The combination of the two businesses is expected to create new avenues for growth.

The partnership aims to offer an expanded range of solutions to both companies’ customers. By integrating Prime Lightโ€™s components with ELPโ€™s emergency systems, the combined offering may provide broader product availability and more integrated solutions.

Service and technical support will also be strengthened by stronger supply chain reach, bolstered by innovation-driven solutions tailored to evolving market needs.

The collaboration may also enable cross-selling opportunities. Teams from both organisations will be encouraged to work together to develop and present combined solutions, such as integrating emergency lighting with control gear or smart lighting systems, which are seen as areas with commercial potential.

Sean Hounslow, Prime Light Group CEO, said: โ€œThis union is more than just a joining of companies โ€“ this is about long-term growth and leveraging our newly strengthened position.

โ€œThe acquisition of Emergency Lighting Products brings a unique opportunity to push boundaries, innovate faster, and serve our customers better through enhanced service, stronger supply chains, and an even deeper commitment to quality.

โ€œWeโ€™re delighted to welcome the ELP team to the Prime Light Group and look forward to delivering even more value to our customers and partners as we grow together.โ€
