Entries open for The Spectator’s Economic Innovator of the Year Awards

Entries are now open for The Spectator’s Economic Innovator of the Year Awards 2025, which recognise and celebrate the achievements of entrepreneurial businesses across the UK.

The awards are free to enter, with a deadline of 18 July, and are open to both early-stage “Breakthrough” ventures and more established “Scale-up” companies. Businesses from all regions of the UK are eligible to apply.

12 regional finalists will be selected by a panel of independent judges, with awards presented at a gala dinner on 27 November at the Renaissance Hotel, St Pancras, London. Attendance at the event is free and all finalists will be invited.

The overall winner will receive £20,000 worth of advertising with The Spectator, and a separate £10,000 advertising award will be given to the business selected as the “One to Watch.” Additional recognition will be awarded for excellence in sustainability.

According to the organisers, the initiative is designed to highlight companies demonstrating innovation, growth and a positive contribution to the wider economy and society.

More information and the entry form are available via The Spectator’s website.
