Leading South East law firm DMH Stallard has advised Temple Group Management, with offices in Sussex and London, on its strategic acquisition by Ramboll, a global leader in environmental and sustainability consultancy.
The milestone marks an exciting new chapter for Temple as it joins forces with Ramboll to expand its expertise and enhance its service offerings in biodiversity, impact assessments and sustainability solutions.
Temple, a B-Corp certified consultancy, has been at the forefront of UK environmental and sustainability services for over 28 years, contributing to Government Policy and Initiatives (for Defra and DfT) and many landmark projects, including the Shard, £800m Jersey Hospital, Barking Riverside, the River Thames Scheme, Thameslink Programme, High Speed 2 and East West Rail.
Jonathan Grant and Mark Diamond, partners at DMH Stallard, led the team advising Temple Group Management.
Jonathan said: “It has been a privilege to work alongside Temple’s leadership team, led by chairman and founder Mark Southwood in this deal.
“Temple has built an outstanding reputation in environmental consultancy, and joining Ramboll will provide exciting opportunities for further growth and innovation in sustainability.”
Mark Southwood, founder of Temple, added: “DMH came recommended and I found them to be highly professional and very responsive, and their breadth of experience and access to niche specialists at short notice was an essential element in completing the deal. I also found Jonathan and Mark very straightforward and easy to work with.”
