Collinson Group acquires 9,000 sq ft office at Sheencroft House

Flude Property Consultants has announced that Collinson Group – a global leader in the provision of a range of travel-related services, including airport lounges, loyalty programmes and travel insurance – has acquired 9,000 sq ft of high-quality office space at Sheencroft House, Haywards Heath, West Sussex.

Following a comprehensive search for its next office location, Collinson chose to remain in Haywards Heath, reinforcing the company’s commitment to the area.

Sheencroft House stood out due to the extensive refurbishment planned by the landlord to provide high-quality accommodation and excellent transport links.

This latest transaction means Sheencroft House is now 41% pre-let in advance of the refurbishment works.

Refurbishment works started in late March and are scheduled for completion in July. The ground and first floors are being offered to let and will provide high-specification office solutions ranging from 1,500 sq ft to 13,000 sq ft.

Flude director Ed Deslandes said: “This was a complex transaction that involved agreeing an early surrender of the former tenant’s lease, while simultaneously negotiating the grant of a new lease to Collinson.

“This included an obligation on our client to undertake a comprehensive programme of building upgrades and refurbishment works to facilitate the new letting – all of which had to be agreed and completed within a very tight timeline.

“A huge thanks to the team involved in making the transaction happen, including Victoria Schofield and Claire Whiteman at Dean Wilson Solicitors, Andrew Coleman at COH Surveyors and my colleagues Andrew Halfacree and Nick Martin – and not forgetting Ben Harris at Savills, who represented Collinson Group.

“With a mention also to our landlord client who was proactive and pragmatic and key to making the deal happen.”
