Chapel House Estate unveils new events space

Chapel House Estate, a private countryside events venue in the heart of Kent, has officially opened its new events space, The Glass Courtyard.

Seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor living, the airy, light-filled space features floor-to-ceiling glass windows, bi-fold doors and a retractable glass roof – all with a striking original oak frame at the centre.

Boasting views onto the surrounding walled garden and bordered by the estate’s flourishing wild apple orchard, The Glass Courtyard is ideal for a variety of intimate, relaxed events – from company retreats to product launches, team building to networking receptions.

Located near the seaside town of Ramsgate, The Glass Courtyard provides a peaceful rural sanctuary for corporate gatherings yet is easily accessible from London, with excellent transport links to the rest of the UK and beyond.

With a capacity of 100 standing and 60 seated, The Glass Courtyard complements Chapel House Estate’s five versatile meetings and events spaces.

Darren Ellis, owner of Chapel House Estate, said: “Since our inception just two years ago, the Chapel House Estate has experienced remarkable growth, with clients appreciating our tranquil, rural setting, outstanding amenities and top-tier food and accommodation.

“The stunning new Glass Courtyard will further enhance our meetings and events offer. Thoughtfully designed to complement the fabric of the surrounding buildings, this all-weather space beautifully combines contemporary elegance with rustic charm, providing a tranquil, nature-filled retreat and the ideal setting to unwind, collaborate and learn.”

Within the 35-acre private estate are a range of luxurious accommodation options, including nine Hideaway Lodges with en-suite double rooms.

Ideally located next to The Glass Courtyard is the estate’s standalone award-winning Number Nine restaurant.
