Kent Housing Group Excellence Awards launch

The search is on for the stars of the housing sector in Kent and Medway with the opening of nominations for the Kent Housing Group Excellence Awards 2025. 

The annual awards – described as the Oscars for our regional housing sector – celebrate the very best projects, professionals and partnerships across housing in the county.

The 12 award categories are:

  • Excellent partnership
  • Excellence in delivering services for vulnerable people
  • Excellence in development and regeneration
  • Innovator of the year
  • Excellent community project
  • Excellent young professional of the year [aged up to 30 years old]
  • Excellent housing professional
  • Excellent associate professional
  • Team of the year
  • Excellence in the private sector
  • Unsung community hero/neighbour of the year
  • Excellence in asset management

Award nominations close on 28 March and only KHG members can nominate. The award category descriptions and nomination forms are available on the KHG website.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony later in the year. KHG is grateful for sponsorship from Southern Housing, South East Consortium (SEC) and CMSG React.

The Kent Housing Group is the ‘collective voice’ of the housing sector in Kent and Medway. It has representation from all 12 Kent local authorities, Medway Council, 13 housing associations, Kent County Council and Kent Public Health. KHG also has representation from organisations who work in partnership with social housing landlords, including the Kent Housing and Development Group, Homes England, the National Housing Federation, the National Landlords Residents Association and the South East Housing and Development Group.
