Bears Ice Cream Imaginarium, a family-owned premium artisan ice cream maker based in Whitstable, Kent, is expanding by launching a brand-new wholesale range.

Phil said: “After a year of recognition for our ice creams, we’re now working towards realising our ambitious plans to scale the business and widen distribution for wholesale customers looking for premium handcrafted ice cream that delivers on both taste and the bottom line.

“Our playful, gourmet creations fulfil the current consumer demand for comfort and indulgence.

“Having secured investment, we’ve recently completed a kitchen renovation to scale up production capacity at our Whitstable shop.”

Multi award-winning Bears Ice Cream was voted Best Local Food & Drink Producer in Kent 2024 by Muddy Stilettos, scooped gold and bronze awards at the Taste of Kent Awards 2024 and was placed 3rd in the London Heat of the Gelato World Masters competition.

All three medal-winning gourmet flavours are part of the new 10-strong flavour line-up, which also features some of the bestselling flavours from their Whitstable ice cream parlour.

The range includes seven dairy and three plant-based flavour combinations, available in 4l catering tubs for foodservice (WS £35, RRP per scoop £3.60), 475ml tubs for speciality retailers (WS £5.25, RRP £9.50) and 125ml single-serve tubs for cafes and leisure attractions (WS £1.55, RRP £3.95).
