Kent drinks business toasts new partnership with Aldi

Family-owned drinks supplier Storefast Solutions Ltd, based near Gravesend in Kent, has agreed a partnership with Aldi to create an exciting new Spicy Margarita cocktail can, as well as continuing its Espresso Martini flavour.

The products will be available in Aldi stores across the UK from 3 March, costing ยฃ1.99 per can.

Storefast, which has been manufacturing drinks for more than 35 years, produced 10 million cans as a business last year and has recently invested in a new canning line, taking its capabilities up to 90 million cans a year.

To support the expansion, the business has installed an acre of solar panels on the roof of its warehouse to help service the energy demands of the new line.

In addition, Storefast sustainably brews its own coffee for production, roasting it in the UK and then brewing and filtering it on site using cross-flow filters.

Alongside the Spicy Margarita and Espresso Martini cocktail cans, Storefast Solutions is also preparing another five new products set to launch in Aldi stores over the next 12 months.

Rachel Collins, director, at Storefast Solutions Ltd, said: โ€œWeโ€™ve had so much fun coming up with a new range of bespoke, high-quality alcoholic cocktails for Aldi shoppers to enjoy, and we are so excited to see our product in stores across the country.

โ€œWorking with Aldi is a milestone for our business, and we canโ€™t wait to see how our relationship develops over the coming year.โ€

Julie Ashfield, managing director for buying at Aldi UK, added: โ€œInvesting in family-owned British businesses like Storefast Solutions is hugely important to us. Weโ€™re looking forward to seeing where the partnership takes us.

โ€œOur cocktail can range is enormously popular, and I have no doubt the new Spicy Margarita flavour will be an absolute hit with customers this summer.โ€
