WIBN Kent to host second Christmas event

After the success of its 2023 gathering, which raised £1,300, the Women in Business Network (WIBN) Kent is hosting its second annual Christmas event and charity raffle.

Taking place at Chilston Park Hotel on Thursday 5 December from 10.45am to 2.15pm, this festive occasion is dedicated to honouring WIBN Kent’s members and showcasing the network’s charity members.

This year, WIBN Kent is proud to support Kent Surrey Sussex Air AmbulancePilgrims HospicePower of Women ThanetKent MS Therapy Centre, and the Alzheimer’s Society.

Attendees can enjoy a delightful two-course lunch, as well as festive treats and much-loved mince pies, alongside the anticipated main event – the Christmas charity raffle – and an inspiring guest speaker.

Raffle prize highlights include using an apartment in the Alps, spa vouchers, coaching sessions, dining vouchers and much more.

Attendees will be treated to a presentation from the event’s guest speaker Jo Wimble-Groves. Jo is an author and co-owner of the global, award-winning telecoms provider Active Digital.

Jo is sure to captivate and inspire with an impressive list of accolades under her belt, including being featured in Management Today’s ’35 under 35′ as featured in The Times (2010).

According to WIBN Kent franchise owner Katherine Vass, the 2024 Christmas event is the perfect way to celebrate the season while making a difference.

WIBN membership is for businesswomen who own SMEs, are self-employed or provide professional services for small businesses. Its mission is to foster communities of businesswomen who cultivate robust business relationships, benefiting from mutual support, referrals, collaborations and more.

Katherine’s network launched in January 2023 and has groups in Maidstone & Kings Hill, Canterbury, Thanet & East Kent, Westerham & Sevenoaks, and Dartford.
