Southern Water relaunches Business Partnership Fund

Southern Water’s Business Partnership Fund is back for a third round. The regional water supplier is on the look-out for new and innovative ideas to help reduce water use in businesses across Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Sussex and Kent.

The Business Partnership Fund is open to all retailers, businesses and third-party conservation providers in these regions.

The fund has been reopened and Southern Water will be accepting applications until 31 December 2024.

Previously, Riverside Country Park in Kent received a £31k business grant to install a ‘Rhino Tank’ which harvests rainwater from their roofs and gutters so water can be pumped into the visitor centre, to flush the toilets.

Splash Point Leisure Centre in Worthing will use their £40k business grant to reuse swimming pool water with an industrial filter. It has the potential to save 7,100 litres of water per day.
