The leadership team at Priority Freight, a leading time-critical logistics specialist, has been presented with The King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade by the Lord-Lieutenant of Kent at its head office in Dover.
This prestigious award recognises the company’s good business practices and significant, sustained growth in overseas sales.
The Lord-Lieutenant of Kent, Lady Colgrain, presented the award to Priority Freight’s CEO Neal Williams during a special celebratory ceremony held at the company’s head office in Dover on 4 September. Staff gathered to welcome the esteemed guest, who is His Majesty’s personal representative for Kent.
Neal said: “It is a great honour to receive such a distinguished award. We are exceptionally proud and would like to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of the whole team.
“The King’s Award is another level of recognition within the logistics industry and beyond. It energises our team to keep innovating and continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in logistics.
“This achievement is a strong testament to our team’s expertise, reinforcing our relationships with existing customers and showcasing our success. We believe it will open doors to new partnerships and opportunities, further driving our growth and impact.
“The logistics industry has suffered waves of challenges in the past few years, such as Brexit, the crisis in the Red Sea and ongoing global conflicts. To achieve this award, despite the challenging backdrop, is a tribute to our global teamwork’s agility.
“We are fortunate to have a wonderful team of committed, hard-working staff. Each and every person has contributed to our success in international sales.”
