The Ivy Collection set to open restaurant in Canterbury

This October, Canterbury is set to welcome a new addition to its dining scene as The Ivy Collection prepares to open its 41st restaurant, based in the heart of the city, creating 140 new local jobs.

Located at the corner of The Parade & Rose Lane, The Ivy Canterbury Brasserie promises to bring its signature blend of high-quality food, exceptional service and an all-day dining experience that locals and visitors alike will cherish.

From early morning breakfasts to late-night cocktails, the restaurant will provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for up to 180 guests, complete with a stylish bar and inviting outdoor terrace.

For those seeking an intimate setting, the venue also features a private dining room seating up to 16 guests, accommodating everything from special occasions to festive events and business meetings.

The menu at The Ivy Canterbury Brasserie will feature a wide array of modern, seasonal dishes, including classics like Shepherd’s Pie and Blackened Cod, alongside new flavours with dishes like Artichoke and Sweet Potato Tagine.

The carefully curated drinks menu will include expertly crafted cocktails, a variety of Champagne and a selection of fine wines.

At the helm of this new venture will be general manager Diogo Bolan, who brings expertise from The Ivy Wimbledon, and head chef Ilias Kalogiannis.

Laura Mills, managing director of The Ivy Collection, said: “We’re thrilled to bring The Ivy experience to Canterbury. The city’s rich history and vibrant culture make it the perfect location for our next restaurant.

“We can’t wait to open our doors this autumn and become part of the Canterbury community, sharing countless special moments and wonderful meals together.”
