NICEIC expands training offer in Maidstone

NICEIC, the UK’s leading certification and training body for the electrical industry, has announced that it will now offer two new qualifications for electrical professionals from its training location in Maidstone, Kent.

With renewables becoming increasingly important as the UK approaches its goal of net zero, NICEIC has expanded its training offer at its approved training centre in Maidstone to deliver two new qualifications – Level 3 EAL Award in the Installation of Small-Scale PV Systems and Level 3 EAL Award in the Design, Installation and Commissioning of Electrical Energy Storage Systems.

The qualifications work independently, but also together to provide electricians with a deeper understanding of the installation of domestic solar solutions.

The training programmes offered by NICEIC provide a professionally accredited method of continuing professional development (CPD) and ensure businesses stay up to date with industry requirements.

Neil Vincent, NICEIC head of business and strategic partnerships, said: “Our training and qualifications aim to bridge the skills gap and ensure that industry professionals meet the highest technical and safety standards.

“We’re always looking at how we can make our in-person training more accessible, alongside our virtual and e-learning courses, so we’re pleased to be able to offer these new qualifications at our Maidstone training location.”
