Countdown to the Kent Housing Group Excellence Awards 2024

The deadline for entries has closed, the judging in the 12 categories has been completed, the trophies and certificates are in production and the venue is booked – the final countdown to the Kent Housing Group (KHG) Excellence Awards 2024 is underway.

The KHG annual awards, hailed as the Oscars for our regional housing sector, celebrate the very best projects, professionals and partnerships across housing in the county.

The judges were delighted with the large number of high-quality nominations this year and said that it’s great to see so much excellent work being delivered by housing professionals across Kent and Medway.

KHG Excellence Awards 2024 winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at Eastgate in Ebbsfleet on 25 September. For the first time, a special recognition award has been added, to be unveiled on the day.

Sponsors confirmed so far are Case Management Solutions Group, Southern Housing, Rosherville Repairs and Maintenance Ltd, GPML and the South East Consortium (SEC).

KHG chair Brian Horton said: “I know that for all KHG members, housing delivery is a passion, not a job. Our judging panel is always energised by the ambition and purpose behind the vital contributions colleagues in housing are making.

“The ideas, the innovation and the vision that are demonstrated illustrate the caring side of housing and the drive we have to make a difference.”

The Kent Housing Group is the ‘collective voice’ of the housing sector in Kent and Medway. It has representation from all 12 Kent local authorities, Medway Council, 13 housing associations, Kent County Council and Kent Public Health.

KHG also has representation from organisations that work in partnership with social housing landlords, including the Kent Housing and Development Group, Homes England, the National Housing Federation, the National Landlords Residents Association and the South East Housing and Development Group.
