Team Tactics in Kent appoints new event planner

Kent-based corporate events and hospitality company Team Tactics has appointed Julia Johnson as event planner to help deliver bespoke team-building events and manage its growing list of high-profile clients.

In her new role, Julia will handle event scheduling and itineraries as the first point of contact for clients, ensuring the successful execution of events and striving to exceed client expectations.

Prior to joining Team Tactics, Julia worked in the television industry in various researcher and producer roles, working on beloved shows like The Chase, The Great British Bake Off and 8/10 Cats Does Countdown.

With a background in performing arts and experience as a Butlin’s Redcoat, Julia brings strong communication and interpersonal skills to her new client-facing role.

Julia’s appointment to Team Tactics comes as the company continues to grow and expand its diverse portfolio of corporate events and hospitality experiences, with a key focus on charity and CSR team building. It has built up an impressive roster of clients, working with the likes of Barclays, Google, Ford, LinkedIn and Nestle.

Julia said: “I thrive in fast-paced environments, and my role as event planner allows me to apply my interpersonal skills and attention to detail to simultaneously manage multiple events and ensure that clients enjoy seamless, unforgettable experiences.

“I was drawn to Team Tactics because of the variety of amazing events they offer, ensuring no two days are the same. I am particularly inspired by Team Tactics’ founder Tina, who serves as a fantastic female role model for all the women in the business.”

Founder Tina Benson added: “Julia is a fantastic addition to the team and brings with her so many valuable skills that will see her thrive in a busy and vibrant event planning role.

“It’s an exciting time for the business and the corporate events market as employers look to step up initiatives for employee engagement, and we’re excited to have Julia on board for the next stage of our growth journey.”
