Brighton brokers win big at UK Health & Protection Awards 2023

Hooray Health & Protection and Engage Health Group, a Brighton-based employee benefits brokerage group, has won major industry accolades at the UK Health & Protection Awards 2023 at London Hilton Park Lane.

Hooray Health & Protection won ‘Best Small Business Advice Firm’ and ‘Best Sales & Retention Advice Team’, while Engage Health Group picked up ‘Best International Group Advice Firm’ in front of a crowd of 750 people.

Charlie Cousins, founder and director at Hooray Health & Protection, which merged with Engage Health Group in 2022, said: “This is a huge achievement for a small business in Brighton with twenty-odd staff competing against multi-national companies with thousands of staff.

“It’s a testament to the hard work everyone has put in and our commitment to ensuring businesses get the best possible advice when investing in employee benefits.”

Ian Abbott, international director at Engage Health Group, added: “We really pride ourselves on our international expertise, so it’s wonderful to get the recognition.

“We’re able to compete against the biggest brokerage firms because of our commitment to giving bespoke consultancy as opposed to a more generic approach to advising clients.

“We’re keen to further grow the team and expand our offering for businesses in the coming year.”
