Expanding property consultancy moves to larger offices

UK property consultancy Vail Williams has moved its Surrey regional office into a high-specification, modern new base in Woking as business demand grows.

The firm has taken a 2,275 sq ft space on the first floor at centrally located and fully refurbished Goldvale House โ€“ adding 50% to its accommodation to facilitate future growth.

Vail Williams has taken a five-year lease on Goldvale House, which delivered on the firmโ€™s desire to stay in Woking.

The office is adjacent to the recently completed Victoria Place development, including 125,000 sq ft of commercial/retail, 189-room flagship Hilton Hotel and 400 apartments.

Four-storey Goldvale House, built in 1980 and refurbished last year, is just five minutesโ€™ walk from Woking rail station and five miles south of Junction 11 of the M25 motorway.

The firm instructed Blue Jelly to carry out a bespoke fit-out of the blank canvas premises and was advised by legal firm Blake Morgan.

Vail Williamsโ€™ Surrey regional managing partner Geoff Fallon said: โ€œTo expedite ongoing and future expansion, we needed to seek bigger office accommodation.

โ€œWhat we have done at Goldvale House is created a flexible workspace with different areas. People can come to work and work differently in the same place.

โ€œItโ€™s very much practising what we preach in terms of how the office environment has changed. There is a hybrid way of working today and we want to continue to attract talent and retain top staff in a welcoming and flexible workplace. 

โ€œThe new office includes an extensive desking area, plus a high desk collaboration area, two meeting rooms, a hybrid two/three-person meeting room and pod together with a substantial kitchen/break-out area.

The move follows Vail Williams acquiring new regional offices in Thames Valley, London and Bournemouth.

Geoff added: โ€œWe have grown our service offering hugely in the past five years and we will continue to elevate and consolidate this across the region.โ€

Goldvale House has a high-quality, contemporary reception area, two lifts, VRV air conditioning system, EPC C rating, shower facilities, energy-efficient lighting, cycle storage and full access raised floors.

Vail Williams has an EV charger in its car parking provision at Goldvale House, which is situated in a prominent position at the junction of Church Street West and Forge End.
