Specialist business property adviser Christie & Co is pleased to announce that Dover Patrol Restaurant in Dover has been sold on a leasehold basis.
Situated on Dover’s Harbour, the restaurant boasts stunning sea views and has an outstanding reputation for its seafood menu, service and ambience.
The business has been owned by Turrloo Parrett, a prominent Kent-based entrepreneur who also owns the Eastwell Manor Hotel and Spa in Ashford. In order to retire, Turrloo has sold the last of his seafood restaurant chain with the sale of the Dover Patrol Restaurant.
The business has been purchased by restaurateurs Hasan Dogan and Lucia D’Aversa, who own two Italian restaurants, Bella Vita in London and Folkestone, and will be rebranding their latest acquisition to Bella Vita at Dover Marina.
Hasan and Lucia said: “We are thrilled with excitement for our new venue and venture. Proud of our Italian food culture, we feel Bella Vita at Dover Marina offers the combination of the rich flavours of Italian Cuisine within the breathtaking views of the seafront and surrounding.”
Keith Bridgen, business agent at Christie & Co, who handled the sale, added: “I am delighted to have completed on the sale of The Dover Patrol Restaurant.
“With its stunning waterfront views, the business generated a lot of interest resulting in multiple offers which further cements the extremely strong leasehold sales we have seen throughout 2023.”
