Sittingbourne urban warehouse development makes progress

Arax Properties, in partnership with Eurazeo Real Estate, has announced the steel frame of its new urban warehouse development in Sittingbourne, Kent has been completed.

Saxon 53, a 53,000 square foot speculative warehouse development, is one of the only such developments of its size in the whole of the South East.

Strong demand has meant that there are currently no units of 40-60k sq ft in the Medway or Swale markets available to occupy.

Saxon 53 benefits from a 41m yard with three dock level and one level access door, as well as 25 car parking spaces. The building provides 10m eaves, 15% roof light content, and 5,400 sq ft of fully-fitted Cat-A offices.

Giles Morse, partner at Arax Properties, said: “We are delighted to be providing investment into the Kent logistics market, bringing much-needed supply and new employment opportunities.”
