Staines office park now fully occupied

The prominent Lotus Park riverside office development of 103,000 sq ft in central Staines Upon Thames, Surrey is now fully let.

The final space, a 9,479 sq ft ground floor office suite, was taken by Chubb, part of APi Group, a leading provider of fire protection and safety solutions.

Property consultancy Vail Williams acted for Legal & General Investment Management, which owns and operates the three-building Thames-side development. De Souza was instructed by Chubb.

This most recent letting follows a series of successful transactions which has seen Verlingue, one of Europeโ€™s largest independent insurance brokers, take a 4,780 sq ft suite at ยฃ38.29 psf, under Legal & Generals fitted flex product, Capsule. This followed another unnamed occupier taking 9,000 sq ft at ยฃ34.50 psf.

Vail Williams and BNP Paribas Real Estate act as joint letting agents for the Lotus Park development, which has seen nine transactions successfully completed over the last 18 months post-refurbishment.

Nick Webb, senior asset manager at Legal & General Investment Management, said: โ€œOur strategy with this development was to deliver not only top-quality interior spaces, under a range of our office products, but also to create some outstanding exterior amenities which benefit from our situation next to the River Thames.

Vail Williams surveyor Charlie Perkins, based in Woking, added: โ€œLotus Park is an exceptional development comprehensively refurbished to Grade A specification, has superfast broadband and is conveniently located โ€“ it is good to see it fully occupied.
