Bognor Regis care home businesses sold

Specialist business property adviser Christie & Co has completed the freehold sale of Chalcraft Hall and Normanton Lodge care homes in Bognor Regis, West Sussex.

Chalcraft Hall is a residential care home registered for 20 and Normanton Lodge is a residential care home registered for 26. Both properties have ‘Good’ CQC ratings, benefit from full-time managers, are located within close proximity of each other, and offer good synergies.

Following separate sales processes with Charles Phillips at Christie & Co, the homes have been purchased by husband-and-wife team Selva and Nikki Arjuna, who also own Hooklands in Bracklesham Bay.

Selva said: These are two well-presented, well-run care homes located in good areas and Nikki and I are looking forward to getting to know the staff and residents in both homes.

“The homes will tie in well with our current care home, Hooklands, which we have owned since 2016.

“Being so close, it seemed a good idea to purchase both at the same time and we are excited about the new opportunities they offer.”

Charles Phillips, director of healthcare at Christie & Co, added: “Having been involved in both of our clients’ purchases of their businesses, I was delighted to be asked to assist them with their sales.

“A good level of interest was expressed in both of these homes, and we are thrilled that Selva and Nikki were the successful buyers.

“They purchased their first care home through us, and we look forward to working with them when they are ready for their next one!”
