Developed by Golding Homes, Connells has been instructed to sell 22 homes, with the first phase expected to complete in late 2022 and full completion in 2023.
Somerfield Terrace occupies a town centre location in Maidstone. It is set to be a landmark restoration, with the hospital being transformed and renovated, repurposing buildings of Maidstone to provide a host of new housing choices for residents of the town.
William Achilles, new homes manager at Connells, said: “This is our first time working with Golding Homes and we are delighted to be providing our services to bring new, high-quality shared ownership homes to the community, with priority given to local residents first.
“This will be one of the first shared ownership developments to offer the new model scheme with shares available between 10% and 75%, which we believe will be a huge draw given the demand in the current property market.
“Alongside this, two of the homes will be discounted market sale (DMS) allowing customers to purchase with a 20% discount from the full market value.
“With this being such a unique collection of new homes in the area, we expect to see a lot of interest from buyers.”
