Eastbourne’s Pacific House sees two companies move in for next phase of growth

Two service companies – Loch Associates Group and Professional Insurance Agents – have taken offices at Pacific House on Eastbourne’s Sovereign Harbour Innovation Park to help drive their next phase of expansion.

Loch Associates Group is a legal and HR services firm. Established in 2007, it has grown rapidly since, doubling its turnover and staff numbers over the last three years.

The company has offices in London, Tunbridge Wells and Brighton and now, to support its expansion, has opened an Eastbourne office within Pacific House, which can accommodate 10 employees. The company is busy recruiting additional staff.

Pam Loch, MD of Loch Associates Group, said: “Over the years, we’ve been helping organisations to nurture their people and protect their business. Our new office helps us to cement our position in Sussex, where we’re witnessing continued growth.”

James Bradshaw, Loch’s director of strategy and delivery, added: “We conducted a thorough exploration of locations and office options before settling on Pacific House. Our choice was driven by the belief that this location not only taps into a rich pool of local talent but caters well to our existing staff.

“Pacific House, with its modern and well-appointed design, is complemented by excellent local amenities and transport links.

“Being in this building aligns perfectly with our style of business and offers the ideal environment to support our growth ambitions. It represents a significant milestone in our strategic expansion plans.”

The second company to move in is Professional Insurance Agents, a commercial insurance broker which specialises in professional indemnity policies, established in 1995.

With 11 employees, the firm was recently acquired by US insurance giant Brown & Brown and has bold plans to expand. It had been based in its own building in Eastbourne’s Sidley Road, but recently decided it was time to move on.

Professional Insurance Agents wanted to stay in Eastbourne and its management team assessed several local property options, selecting Pacific House as the most suitable.

Director Ellie Smith said: “Pacific House impressed us as a modern, low-maintenance property in a great location, so we’ve taken an office on the ground floor.

“It’s a major benefit that it’s a serviced office – this takes away the headache of managing our own property so we can focus on growing the business instead. We’re excited to be here, and it’s great for our staff, who are all happily settled into their new office.”
