Altnets continues expansion and opens new Brighton Marina office

Telecoms supplier Altnets is joining the Brighton Marina Development, moving to a new, bigger office to support its growing team.

The new office provides the team with a contemporary and conveniently located place to work and meet with customers and suppliers.

As the business grows, Altnets continues to focus on benefiting its local community, providing jobs and supporting Brightonโ€™s economy.

The companyโ€™s ambition is to be a workplace that nurtures and retains its staff, supporting them on their career journeys and making them feel excited to come to work.

Paul Britnell, co-founder and director at Altnets, said: โ€œWe welcome our most recent team member, our new marketing manager Kate Quick. We are delighted to have her on board and know that she will drive our marketing plan forward, promoting Altnets and our brand, while aligning all initiatives with our values: integrity, quality, teamwork and simplicity.

โ€œWe want to be the place to work in Brighton. As the business grows, our mission is to be held in extremely high regard both within the UK telecoms industry and as a local employer.

โ€œOur company culture and benefits increase staff retention and motivation, particularly through both our internal and external training.

โ€œCurrently, two members of staff are going through externally accredited training in accounting and HR, and another has just completed a City & Guild qualification.โ€

In just a few years since the company launched in November 2020, Altnets has become an award-winning telecoms supply chain expert and has even become the Procurement Consultant Partner of trade body ISPA UK (the Internet Services Providersโ€™ Association) this year, further solidifying its reliability and knowledge of the industry.

At the start of 2023, from hundreds of entries across every sector, Altnets was ranked 35th overall in the Elite Business 100 (EB100), and more recently, was announced as a finalist in the Growth Business of the Year Award category at the 2023 Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards.

Sam Bangle, co-founder and director at Altnets, said: โ€œThe most telling way to showcase our success over the last three years is to look at our financial growth. From a promising projected turnover to our revenue doubling, our growth is reflected in our figures. Since we began in 2020, our turnover has increased 500%!โ€

โ€œWe are proud of our growth from just three employees in 2021 to 13 today, who are all from the immediate region, and we are excited to continue to expand and to branch out into new market sectors.

โ€œAt Altnets, we will never stand still โ€“ we will always strive to improve processes and be as efficient as possible.โ€
